Stationery Kits & Nutritious Food Packs for 60+ Primary Government School Children
As part of the 1st Anniversary Celebration, the Smile With Shine team visited a primary government school in Hyderabad and distributed stationery kits (notebooks, pencils, pens, sharpeners and erasers) along with nutritious food packs to more than 60 children. The programme was filled with joy, enthusiasm and meaningful moments as the children happily received the support — hand-to-hand, eye-to-eye.

One Year of Smiles — 1st Anniversary Community Lunch
Today, Smile With Shine Welfare Society turned one year old. To mark the milestone, our supporters, donors, volunteers and well-wishers joined together to sponsor a community lunch for the families we walk alongside — the elderly we visit, the children in our Community Learning Centres, and the daily wage workers we meet on Tuesday mornings. No stage, no speeches — just one long table, warm food, and a room full of the people who made this first year possible.
The lunch was not funded by an event budget. Every plate was paid for by a supporter who chose to mark our anniversary not with a card, but with a meal for a family who needed one. "Together for Stronger Communities" — Smile Foundation Trainee Refresher
Smile With Shine Welfare Society was invited to attend the "Together for Stronger Communities" Trainee Refresher in New Delhi from 24–27 June 2026 — a four-day capacity-building convening for grassroots organisations from across India. The programme is run under Smile Foundation's Empowering Grassroots Initiative in partnership with Change The Game Academy. The four guiding pillars of the convening: Reflect · Strengthen · Collaborate · Commit.
Over the four days, our team participated in the Needs & Offers group activity (sharing resources and asks across organisations), a Project Future Readiness session on the skills and strategies grassroots NGOs need for the next decade, and an inspiring exchange with the CEO of Smile Foundation.
